During a rally in Houston, Texas, President Donald Trump announced that he should no longer use the nickname “Pocahontas” which he has used to taunt Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), as she does not actually have any Native American blood. He then unleashed a brutal insult for the 2020 hopeful that had the crowd going wild.
Last week, Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s decades-long claim to be Native American came crashing down as the results of her DNA test were revealed. Warren had claimed to be a minority to possibly gain an advantage, so the backlash was fierce after a DNA test showed that she is only between 1/64 and 1/1,204 American Indian, about as much as your average white person.
Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) is touting a DNA test that shows she has, at most, 1/64 Native American ancestry, and possibly as little as 1/1024 — which means she may have no more Native American DNA than the average white American, and less than many other Americans.
Even 1/64 — corresponding to one great-great-great-great grand parent — would not qualify Warren for membership in any Native American tribe, nor justify her claims to Native American identity. [Source: Breitbart]
President Donald Trump did not hold back his criticism of Warren as he spoke at a rally in Texas on Monday supporting Sen. Ted Cruz.
“A sad thing happened last week, because Elizabeth Warren was exposed as being a total fraud,” said the president. “And I can no longer call her ‘Pocahontas’ because she has no Indian blood. She doesn’t qualify.”
“I’ve been saying it for years. I said I have more blood than she has, and I have none,” he continued. “But I can’t use the name Pocahontas anymore. But if you don’t mind, I will anyway — is that OK?”
The crowd seemingly couldn’t get enough of President Donald Trump’s jokes at Elizabeth Warren’s expense, and, truth be told, the senator only has herself to blame. She could have quietly gone about her business and kept a low profile as the November midterms approached, and no one would have been the wiser about her DNA debacle. But now, the entire country knows that she is a massive fraud.
Why on earth would she release the results of her DNA test when they only prove that President Trump was right all along? She has no more claim to Native American heritage than your average white girl.
We knew this woman wasn’t the brightest bulb in the box, but this was an incredibly inept move, even for her. I suppose we will simply chalk it up as a gift to the GOP, and it couldn’t have come at a better time. That “Blue Wave” we keep hearing about is disappearing as we speak.
