Maxine Waters should be worried by the border crisis since it is happening a mere 130 miles away from her constituency. Instead, she claims President Donald Trump created the entire thing and the illegal aliens storming our border is a “political ploy” by the president. Waters also said she doesn’t believe Trump has an agreement with Mexico. Well, poor Maxine just got a nasty surprise she never saw coming. You’ll love this.
Maxine Waters is on the record saying the president is lying about an agreement with Mexico regarding the border crisis. Waters spewed pure propaganda void of any facts, claiming the illegal aliens storming the Souther border at Tijuana were not at fault. Instead, she says all the blame for the crisis lies with Trump.
Sunday on CNN’s Newsroom, Waters called the ongoing border crisis a “political ploy” by President Donald Trump. “Well, I am very saddened to see this situation with desperate people and all of this has being [sic] the political ploy of the President of the United States of America,” said the California Congresswoman.
“[Trump] made this the central part of his platform, that he was going to do something about these migrants who were coming here. He called them killers and rapists, and he certainly did stoke a lot of fear about these migrants who are trying to get in,” Waters said.
“That’s what he wants. He wants to stoke fear,” claimed Waters. “These migrants who now are facing a closed border and who are rushing, you know, and storming the border certainly that looks bad and looks as if they are at fault of all of this. What we need is comprehensive immigration reform led by the President of the United States in an effort to deal with this problem. But, we’re not seeing that from this president.”
Wacky Waters claiming the president hasn’t done anything to instigate immigration reform is rich. Of course, that might play well with low information voters, but the president isn’t a dictator who can pick up his pen and his phone and make immigration reform happen.
Congress, which Waters has been a part of for over almost 30 years, is tasked with changing laws. And, she knows it.
“Failed leadership, failed leadership, that’s what it is,” whined Waters about the current border crisis. Then, Mad Maxine was asked about Trump saying he had a “remain in Mexico” deal with the new Mexican government.
“No, no, no,” interrupted Waters. “Well, first of all, I don’t believe the president. I don’t believe there is an agreement. I believe there are attempts to get an agreement, but Mexico can’t easily do that. They have a poorly performing economy. You have a crisis now, and it’s a humanitarian crisis. They can’t afford to take care of those people and feed those people and have them used as a waiting room, you know, as this president, ah, wanted them to do.”
The funny thing is President Trump has begged Congress time and time again to make immigration reform a priority. On October 20th, he tweeted, “If the Democrats would stop being obstructionists and come together, we could write up and agree to new immigration laws in less than one hour. Look at the needless pain and suffering that they are causing. Look at the horrors taking place on the Border. Chuck & Nancy, call me!”

Yet, Mad Maxine lies, saying Trump wants the border crisis. And then, she laments Mexico’s problems with the illegal aliens like a true Mexican politician would. Does she realize how ridiculous she sounds?
Maxine says Mexico can’t take care of the illegals or feed them but wants America to do just that. Going by her own words, the border crisis is somehow America’s fault, and now, we need to open the borders and let thousands of unvetted illegal aliens into the country, feed them and take care of them because Mexico is too poor to handle it.
Poor Maxine contradicts herself repeatedly. And now, she has egg on her face. While she was spouting her crazy theories on CNN, Reuters was reporting the exact opposite of what Maxine claimed. Yes, Mexico has an agreement with Trump, and they are starting to deport the illegal aliens.
“Mexico will deport migrants from a group of 500 who on Sunday tried to ‘violently’ and ‘illegally’ cross the U.S. border, the Mexican Interior Ministry said in a statement,” reported Reuters.
Even CNN reports, “They’ve spent weeks trekking across Mexico, trying to reach the United States. But dozens of migrants will be deported and will never touch US soil, Mexican authorities said.”
CNN added, “About 500 migrants on the Mexican side of the border overwhelmed police blockades near the San Ysidro Port of Entry on Sunday, two journalists in Tijuana told CNN. That forced a temporary closure of the major border crossing into San Diego.”
Maxine Waters once again reminds Americans why she is considered one of the most ignorant members of Congress. It’s Congress’ fault there has been no immigration reform to address this border crisis, and Waters actually tells us the reason America shouldn’t open the borders.
