Dems Blame Trump For “Pipe Bombs,” Then Damning Video Of Pelosi Surfaces

The political left was quick to blame President Donald Trump after several suspicious packages were sent to prominent Democrats this week. However, a damning video of House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi has since surfaced, silencing those who have insinuated that Trump had anything to do with this.

Secret Service agents revealed on Wednesday that they had intercepted two suspicious packages en route to former President Barack Obama’s Washington, DC home and Hillary and Bill Clinton’s property in Chappaqua, New York. A short time later, a police bomb squad was sent to CNN’s offices in New York City and the newsroom was evacuated because of a suspicious package.

The package containing a “functional explosive device” that was addressed to Clinton was found late Tuesday, while the package addressed to Obama was found early Wednesday. Authorities have described the devices as “pipe bombs” that were rudimentary but functional.

Speaking at the White House on Wednesday, President Donald Trump called for national unity.

“The safety of the American people is my highest and absolute priority,” Trump said. “I’ve just concluded a briefing with the FBI, Department of Justice, Department of Homeland Security, and the U.S. Secret Service. As we speak, the packages are being inspected by top explosive experts, and a major federal investigation is now underway.”

“The full weight of our government is being deployed to conduct this investigation and bring those responsible for these despicable acts to justice. We will spare no resources or expense in this effort,” President Donald Trump said. “In these times, we have to unify. We have to come together, and send one very clear, strong, unmistakable message that acts or threats of political violence of any kind have no place in the United States of America.”

Despite Trump’s decidedly bipartisan and unifying statement, he was immediately attacked by Democratic leadership. In a joint statement, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) blamed Trump for the suspicious packages that had been sent to their colleagues:

“We listened with great interest to the President’s remarks this afternoon. We all take an oath to support and defend the constitution and protect the American people, and that is our first responsibility. However, President Trump’s words ring hollow until he reverses his statements that condone acts of violence.”

Of course, it is absolutely ludicrous to insinuate that President Trump had anything to do with this, especially when the political left has been encouraging violence against those who disagree with their agenda. Pelosi herself said that if Americans who disagree with her views are “collateral damage,” then “so be it.”

But while Pelosi’s reaction to this incident has been to immediately blame Trump, her response was very different in the wake of the GOP baseball shooting last year. That shooting actually involved a Democratic volunteer for Bernie Sanders, who the evidence showed was steeped in the propaganda about the GOP being an “existential threat,” had a list of GOP lawmakers to kill and who, according to Sen. Rand Paul, yelled “This is for healthcare!” as he opened fire.

But Pelosi didn’t see the rhetoric of Democrats as relevant to the matter then. Indeed, she found it offensive to even suggest that, when it should be a time for unity. She accused the Republicans who thought the shooting had anything to do with liberal calls for violence of “outrageous comments, beneath the dignity of the job.”

The hypocrisy of the left is truly stunning. They’re the first to blame Republicans when their own party is attacked, but the last to take responsibility when the tables are turned. Please share this video so that Nancy Pelosi cannot hide from what she said one year ago after the GOP baseball shooting.
