Whoopi Goldberg and her co-hosts on The View were so excited about the leftist media’s big story that Ivanka Trump had used her personal email account last year. Immediately, Goldberg compared Ivanka to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s email scandal. In fact, Joy Behar and Sunny Hostin called the president’s daughter “dumb” and then claimed her explanation was “bull sh*t.” Well, the president just made them regret attacking Ivanka.
The mainstream media is completely unhinged over this really old story about Ivanka Trump using a personal email account when she first got to the White House. That’s right, this story was first published back in September 2017.
But the leftist media is so desperate to find anything to taint the Trump White House, they are now recycling old news and reporting it as if it just happened. Politico reported in September 2017, “Ivanka Trump’s account was set up with her husband, Kushner, last December on a family email account, according to public records,” adding, “No one in the White House has been accused of sharing classified or sensitive material on personal email accounts.”
Then, two days ago, the Washington Post came out with almost the exact same article as what Politico reported back in 2017, except they pushed this alarmist narrative creating a feeding frenzy by Trump-haters. This brings us to The View on Tuesday morning.
Whoopi opened up the topic of Ivanka’s exaggerated email scandal to be discussed by the shrews. Immediately, Joy Behar had to chime in, saying, “You know what’s amazing is that this girl [Ivanka] was there in 2016, I mean, was she in a convent?” Big mouth Behar is referring to Trump’s campaign and the focus on “locking Hillary up.”
“[Ivanka] was watching TV just like the rest of us. How dumb can a person be to go and make the same mistake that he [Trump] has been b*tching about the whole time? People, wake up,” Joy exclaimed. That sparked the so-called attorney, Sunny Hostin, to weigh in and really trash Ivanka for “not knowing any better.”
Hostin said she calls “B.S on ‘I didn’t know better.’ I think it’s the height of hypocrisy, quite frankly.”
“She knew that’s one of the things her father ran on, it was a significant part of his platform,” Hostin continued, in reference to the president’s repeated attacks in the months leading up to the 2016 presidential election on former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for her use of a private email server to conduct government business.
“That’s what happens when you have that kind of nepotism going on in the White House,” Hostin added. Whoopi kept pushing that maybe Hillary really didn’t do anything bad since Ivanka has done the same thing.
That caused Meghan McCain, with an arrogant smirk on her face, to say she found the report “hypocritical” and added that “when one of your dad’s taglines is ‘lock her up’ specifically about an email controversy that you should know the difference for that reason alone.”

Well, not only was this news story about Ivanka using personal email accounts old news, comparing what she did to Hillary is ridiculous. In fact, President Donald Trump was questioned by reporters about the Ivanka email issue.
“Just so you understand, early and for a little period of time, Ivanka did some emails,” Trump told reporters on the South Lawn.
“They weren’t classified like Hillary Clinton. They weren’t deleted like Hillary Clinton,” the President said Tuesday. “She wasn’t doing that to hide her emails.”
President Trump also suggested Ivanka Trump’s email use isn’t violating records retention laws. “The Presidential Record, they’re all in the Presidential Record,” Trump said. “There was no hiding.”
Ivanka used the personal email account that her husband set up before they got to the White House mostly for family events and scheduling activities for her kids. But the really big difference has to do with Hillary’s position versus Ivanka’s.
Hillary Clinton set up a private server when she was the Secretary of State. The failed presidential candidate had top military clearance, and she was receiving and sending some of the most sensitive and highly classified documents involving CIA assets, reported NBC News.
After she blatantly put lives in danger by using that personal server, she then tried to cover it up. Hillary purposely was trying to hide emails from the U.S. government. That was her intent when she set up the server, and she didn’t give a damn about who she put in harm’s way.
How does that compare in any way to Ivanka Trump? Ivanka does not have that kind of top-secret military clearance and she didn’t try to cover anything up. Yet, the Democrats are now threatening to “open an investigation.” Well, let them. This would be just another crazy witch hunt.
Hillary Clinton’s email scandal was a serious breach of national security, and that cannot be said about Ivanka Trump. Maybe the shrews of The View should hire a few researchers to get their facts straight. Every time they open their mouths, they end up looking like a bunch of fools.
