Barbra Streisand is having an epic meltdown. It seems the Oscar and Grammy winner who held many fundraisers for Hillary Clinton is seriously thinking about leaving her plush California home, in favor of Canada. So what is causing such a drastic move? Well, Barbra claims if President Donald Trump and his supporters do one thing, she will have to leave. You’ll love what it is.
In a wide-ranging interview with the New York Times’ Maggie Haberman released Tuesday, hardcore leftist Barbara Streisand said she is considering moving to Canada, but one thing needs to happen first.
The New York Times reports, “Barbra Streisand has a new album, one that is the musical embodiment of her singular dislike of President Trump, and the rare instance of her political views entering her music. One track already released, Don’t Lie to Me, is a direct address to her fellow native New Yorker who now holds the Oval Office.”
There are similar messages throughout the album, “Walls,” due on Friday, which also includes a medley of John Lennon’s “Imagine” and Louis Armstrong’s “What a Wonderful World.” The title track warns that people now “build [walls] where they shouldn’t be.”
According to the article, poor Babs is strung-out over President Trump saying his win and presidency has “engulfed” her. “I would lie awake at night with Trump’s outrages running through my head, and I had to do another album for Columbia Records, so I thought, why not make an album about what’s on my mind? And that became the title of the first song [Don’t Lie To Me],” Streisand told the Times.
Asked if she could name anything Trump has done that is good, she responded, “I mean, this is a man who’s kind of, not kind of — he’s mean. I worry about the children. I worry about what is the image he’s projecting to them.” Later, she added, “He’s a great marketer. You asked me what I think he’s good at? He’s good at marketing.”
So, in almost two years, the president has broken all records lowering unemployment across the board, he has renegotiated NAFTA so American manufacturing jobs come back home, ISIS is on the run, North Korea isn’t firing missiles, and we moved our embassy to Jerusalem. As a Jew, you’d think Babs would acknowledge this.
But no, she can’t name a darn thing Trump has done for Americans. Well, if Barbra needs one thing to happen to leave America for Canada, I say let’s make it happen. When she was asked how she is feeling these days, Streisand said, “I want to sleep nights, if we [Democrats] take the House I’ll be able to sleep a little bit better.”
Haberman asked, “And if they don’t?” Barbra answered, “Don’t know. I’ve been thinking about, do I want to move to Canada?”
She continued, “I don’t know. I’m just so saddened by this thing happening to our country. It’s making me fat. I hear what he said now, and I have to go eat pancakes now, and pancakes are very fattening. We make them with healthy flour, though — almond flour, coconut flour.”
Twitchy reports, “Talk about fearmongering right before the election: now we have to enter the voting booth knowing that we might lose Barbra Streisand to Canada if that blue wave doesn’t hit.”
Well, there you have it. All we need to do is make sure the GOP wins the House of Representatives and Barbra Streisand will be getting so fat and depressed she will have to move to Canada.
There’s just one last question. Why not Mexico?
Twitchy adds, “Ever notice how all the celebrities who threatened to leave the country when Donald Trump won the election said they were moving to Canada? Why didn’t a single one of them pick Mexico? Too many brown people?”
Theses uppity celebrities would never cop to saying Mexico isn’t their bag. Nope, that would be too racist. Yet, none of them have ever said they will be good Marxists and move to Venezuela, either. No, they aren’t about to give up their million dollar lifestyles. Such hypocrites.
Let’s make sure we get rid of Streisand and any other celebrity who will meltdown if the GOP keeps control of Congress. Spread this great information far and wide, all we have to lose is a bunch of celebrities who hate everything we stand for.
