VIDEO: Black Student Yells, “I’m Off The Plantation!” — Listen To The Response

At an event for young black conservatives in Washington, DC, one attendee became so enthused that he shouted, “I’m off the plantation!” Indeed, this is the way many African-Americans feel under President Donald Trump’s leadership. Listen to the response this young person received after showing their true feelings.

President Donald Trump’s son, Don Jr., addressed the first annual Turning Point USA Young Black Leaders Summit in Washington, DC on Thursday evening. The summit featured hundreds of young black conservative students from across the country who gathered to hear from conservative black leaders, members of the administration, President Donald Trump, and his family.

According to The Daily Caller, Don Jr. opened up the event with a speech about the president’s accomplishments. The spirited speech was punctuated with calls from the enthusiastic audience of “USA! USA! USA!” and “build the wall.”

Don Jr. made sure to note the historically low black unemployment numbers, prompting one attendee to shout, “I’m off the plantation!” At this assertion, the room erupted in cheers and applause.

African-Americans, a demographic which has historically voted for Democratic candidates, are starting to wake up. And, unfortunately for those on the political left, that awakening isn’t happening slowly or quietly. Now that the black community realizes how badly they’ve been played by the Democrats, they’re directing all the rage of a pent-up bull at the liberals who’ve held them down for so long.

In June, a survey found that “black voters are nearly twice as likely (28%) to say young black Americans are better off now than they were in the closing year of [Barack] Obama’s presidency (15%).” Moreover, 54 percent of voters who say life for young black Americans is better now believe race relations are improving, too.

“Voters feel young black Americans are better off under President Trump than they were under Barack Obama, the nation’s first black president. The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey shows that 32% of Likely U.S. Voters believe life for young black Americans has gotten better since Trump’s election,” stated Rasmussen Reports.

“But in March 2014, just 16% said life for young black Americans had gotten better since Obama’s election five-and-a-half years earlier. By July 2016 in Obama’s final year in office, only 13% thought life was better for young blacks.”

It only makes sense that black Americans are starting to turn away from the Democratic Party. Black unemployment is at a historic low. Among all Americans, fewer than ever know someone who is looking for work or someone who has given up the search, while confidence in the job market remains near record highs. Meanwhile, the number of Americans on food stamps and other forms of welfare is drastically decreasing.

As infamous black neurosurgeon and Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Dr. Ben Carson infamously noted, the best thing that you can possibly do for a person on public assistance is to get them off of it — give them a way to provide for themselves and their family if only they are willing to put in the work. However, this is a nightmare scenario for Democratic politicians whose very livelihood depends on keeping black people oppressed.

The Democrats have been using unemployed blacks as a political tool for years. Meanwhile, President Donald Trump has done what Dr. Carson suggested in record time. These young black conservatives should be applauded. It is not popular to stand up to the political establishment the way that they have. Please show them your support by sharing this post.
