Federal Agents Reveal “Huge Clue” About Who Sent Mail Bombs To Top Democrats

Several suspicious packages were sent to top Democrats this week, including former President Barack Obama, Bill and Hillary Clinton, liberal billionaire George Soros, former Attorney General Eric Holder, and Florida Democrat Debbie Wasserman Schultz. According to federal agents, the mail bombs all contained a “huge clue” as to who is behind them.

From the beginning, the narrative surrounding the suspicious packages being sent to Democratic leaders this week smelled fishy. With all of the mail bombs having been sent to prominent liberals, and so close to the November midterm elections, it certainly looked more like an astutely-orchestrated political stunt than an actual threat.

Now, as more information is revealed about the investigation into the devices, we have been given a “huge clue” about the motivations of the person who sent the packages. According to federal agents working on the case, the fact that none of the mail bombs actually detonated is very significant.

“Federal agents say they are working on the theory that it’s one group, or one person. Also…the fact that none of them detonated is more significant than people may realize. I am told that’s a ‘huge clue,'” tweeted investigative journalist Adam Housley. “Also being investigated…and this is kinda obvious…whether all packages came from expedited carriers. It would make sense why they all arrived around the same time and stamps may have not been cancelled.”

“The fact that the devices were crude of course is a clue, but again…there are other variables that you may not think of. All this has to be taken into consideration by law enforcement. Dry Run? Hoax? True intention? Distraction for something else? Just a few examples I’m told,” added Housley. “To clarify to anyone trying to politicize: I am insinuating nothing. Just reporting actual facts. Imagine that. Actual possibilities and what investigators are doing. Nowhere did I say false flag. It is one possibility tho, as is dry run. Get it?”

Not only did none of the bombs go off, but they were almost too easily detected as if the maker intended for the devices to be intercepted by law enforcement before they ever reached their intended targets.

“6 bombs sent to Democrats. 0 go off. All crudely made pipe bombs and conspicuously obvious explosives, and all easily screened and discovered. Stunt seems designed for maximum political/media optics, not maximum damage,” tweeted investigative reporter Paul Sperry.

“The pipe bombs might as well have had ‘ACME’ stamped on them. Totally telegraphed by packaging (excessive postage, taping), amateur packing of gun powder (bad end caps, etc),” Sperry added.

The pipe bombs sent to the likes of Barack Obama and the Clintons this week were devoid of forensic evidence that would trace back to their makers. Yet, at the same time, the devices were amateurish. We’re supposed to believe that someone intelligent enough to professionally scrub all leads away from these packages also created bombs so amateur that they could not reach their target and detonate?

Former bomb disposal officer Tom Sauer noted as much. “1. Proper pipe bombs don’t have wires connected to both ends. That’s dumb,” Sauer tweeted. “2. You can find timers / remote control receivers WAY smaller than whatever that white box is. A proper timer would best be stored inside the pipe, making it fully encapsulated. That thing is just silly looking.”

“3. Bottom Line: Whoever made that wanted it to be painfully obvious to anyone and everyone that it’s a ‘bomb.’ This is nearly the same as a bundle of road flares wrapped together with an old-timey alarm clock ticking away,” Sauer added. “4. ‘Hoax Devices’ are FAR more common than real ones. In which case, we should ask ourselves what the motives of the ‘bomber’ are and ‘who benefits?’ Go ahead. Think deeply and critically.”

It definitely appears that these bombs were never meant to harm anyone, but rather to create an atmosphere of fear and insinuate that those on the political left are being targeted for their beliefs by “radical” conservative Trump-supporters.

That much seems obvious when you take a good look at the circumstantial evidence and consider that the November midterm elections are only two weeks away. Timing is everything.
