Busted: Scientists Lied About Rising Ocean Temperatures & Global Warming

It comes as no surprise to many of us that scientists have lied about the rising ocean temperatures and global warming. What is shocking, however, is when the liberal media is forced to eat crow and admit climate change data is bunk. In a surprising admission, leftists were actually forced to admit reality, and it didn’t help the global warming narrative they desperately try to push.

A popular liberal myth is that 97% of all scientists believe in man-made global warming. This is an obvious lie because most scientists don’t work in the field of climatology and, thus, have no professional opinion on the subject.

What liberals mean is that 97% of climate scientists believe in global warming, which is as credible as promoting pedophilia by claiming 97% of all child molesters believe the age of consent should be lowered. The liberal push, to convince everyone that global warming is real, took another hit as it turns out these climate scientists were just making stuff up to fit the narrative.

The Washington Post, who definitely supports the man-made global warming hoax, reluctantly had to inform people that climate scientists are full of hooey:

A major study claimed the oceans were warming much faster than previously thought. But researchers now say they can’t necessarily make that claim.

They can’t necessarily make that claim because it’s not true, but that sure is a funny way to say they were lying. In fact, here’s another funny way of saying they are full of baloney:

Scientists behind a major study that claimed the Earth’s oceans are warming faster than previously thought now say their work contained inadvertent errors that made their conclusions seem more certain than they actually are.

Science deals with absolutes. Science is the truth and there is no gray area about what is true and what is false. If these scientists are drawing conclusions that they have uncertainty over, they are not engaged in anything that remotely resembles science.

This particular study measured the temperature of the ocean and determined that “the rate of global warming itself could be more accelerated.” It sounds ominous, but luckily, it ain’t true.

Two weeks after the high-profile study was published in the journal Nature, its authors have submitted corrections to the publication. The Scripps Institution of Oceanography, home to several of the researchers involved, also noted the problems in the scientists’ work and corrected a news release on its website, which previously had asserted that the study detailed how the Earth’s oceans “have absorbed 60 percent more heat than previously thought.”

Wow, these scientists were way off.

“Unfortunately, we made mistakes here,” said study co-author Ralph Keeling. “I accept responsibility for what happened because it’s my role to make sure that those kind of details got conveyed.”

The central problem, according to Keeling, came in how the researchers dealt with the uncertainty in their measurements. As a result, the findings suffer from too much doubt to definitively support the paper’s conclusion about how much heat the oceans have absorbed over time.

Did you notice the understated way the WaPo tried to frame this lie? When credible data was not available, these scientists inserted their own data to support their pre-determined conclusion. In the rest of the scientific world, this is called making sh*t up and is heavily frowned upon.

These scientists would have gotten away with it too if it weren’t for those meddling kids, or in this case, an actual scientist. Mathematics and physics researcher Nicholas Lewis looked at the study and found a “major problem” with it.

“So far as I can see, their method vastly underestimates the uncertainty, as well as biasing up significantly, nearly 30 percent, the central estimate,” said Lewis.

“Underestimating uncertainty” and “bias” are not a part of the scientific method, so the real conclusion here is that this study “proving” global warming is a lie.

Science can’t prove global warming is real, but we can use it to prove it’s a hoax: Liberals think that man is causing the planet to get warmer but, despite their claims to believe in science, also put their faith in a lot of other bunk. Liberals believe if a man puts on a dress he is magically transformed into a woman. Liberals believe that the lethality of a firearm is increased if it looks scary. Liberals believe killing unborn babies through abortion saves lives.

It’s a scientific fact that whatever liberals believe is false, so if they believe in global warming it is most certainly untrue.
